1st Nose

Intense, gourmand, caramel au beurre. Red fruits. Ripe peaches, apricot. Sweet exotic spices (vanilla, cinnamon, star anise). Roasted pineapple, melon, butter. Great purity, violet flower, very pretty.

2nd Nose

The addition of water accentuates the buttery characters.

Palate

Dry, fresh, pure, smooth and rounded with a good core energy. However the oak seems to have the upper end and masks a little bit of the gourmandise and aromatic expression of the Cognac.

Finish

A twist of bitter oak on the finish.
